We harness nature-based solutions (NbS) to benefit frontline communities confronting the climate crisis. In every project, we seek to ensure fairness to communities, financial viability and sustainability, and a focus on long-term benefits for people and nature.
Indigenous communities will be critical partners in realizing Canada’s ambitious conservation, climate, and biodiversity goals. Already, Indigenous governments have proposed over 100 Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) across the country.
The Farmer Inclusion Program is N4J’s core U.S. initiative, currently active in North Carolina and Virginia. Through this work, we work with Black, Indigenous, and other farmers of color, to increase access to financial and technical resources for climate resilience, climate mitigation, and regenerative agriculture.
